Admission Requirements
- 60 transferable credit hours
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Associate Degree in Nursing from a regionally-accredited institution
- Proof of RN licensure (conditional admission can be offered if license has not yet been obtained)

Focus is on the conceptual foundation of nursing practice, professional issues, and trends in health care delivery. Explores professional opportunities beyond the initial nursing preparation.
Focused didactic and clinical opportunities for the RN to examine the community health/global health nursing care needs of individuals, families, communities, and populations. Learners will participate in community health/global health programs within a community to promote and maintain health.
Emphasis on advancing the RN’s knowledge of the nursing implications of basic principles of drug action and the therapeutic application of select major pharmacological classification of drugs currently used in clinical nursing practice.
Explores the foundations for decision-making, problem-solving, and critical-thinking/reasoning skills, as well as management and leadership skills needed to address the leadership and management problems presented in the workplace.
